SuicideGirls Bring Their Blackheart Burlesque to Plaza Live in Orlando

Get ready for some sexy geeky fun when the SuicideGirls return to Orlando to perform their Blackheart Burlesque show at Plaza Live! on May 5.

Blackheart Burlesque is a fantasy spectacular featuring members of the SuicideGirls performing creative striptease numbers set to pop culture themes. Star Wars, Stranger Things, West World, and A Tribute to Prince and David Bowie are a few of the pop-culture references unique to this year’s show.

Formed in 2001, the idea behind SuicideGirls was to celebrate beautiful women that didn’t fall within the narrow criteria of beauty established in the mainstream media, according to founder Missy Suicide. She says over 250,000 women world-wide have submitted photos sets hoping to become a Suicide Girls, and thousands more a year apply.

Since its humble beginnings, she has grown the brand from a website of photos of friends to a full-fledged online community with over 5 million visitors a month, several television appearances and Showtime specials, art house photo books, and so much more.

I’ll have an interview with Missy up soon, but in the meantime, if you want to know more, visit blackheartburlesque.com.
