Monster Jam rolled into Raymond James Stadium in Tampa this weekend on Saturday, and we had an opportunity to watch it.
I arrived with two of my close friends who have seen the show before, and my mother who knew nothing about Monster Jam.
The first thing we got to enjoy was a pre-show event, the Party in the Pits. Once you get past all the crowds you can meet all the drivers and we were able to touch and look at their trucks.
Also at the party they had a thrilling show of motorcycle and BMX riders doing dangerous tricks. It had many on the edge of their seat.
Then the show got on its way. We were seated on the highest level in the stadium, but it actually allowed us to enjoy the show more. It wasn’t as loud, and we did not get dirt in our faces.
We couldn’t stay until the end, because it got on the chilly side, and I had to get up early the following day. But for the couple of hours and races we watched, they were full of excitement and fun to watch.
The event was filled with fast trucks, crashes, high jumps, and most of all, very good entertainment. The commentators were hilarious, and helped us learn more about monster trucks and Monster Jam.
I would definitely recommend Monster Jam if you want to hangout with friends and family, and have a great time!
