The Ravenous Pig has ended their lunch menu and are now only serving a dinner menu. The good news is they have also launched a new summer dinner menu with items like King Salmon, Seminole Pride Beef, Raw Oysters and Brandade Ravioli. (Above photo courtesy The Ravenous Pig)

Sister restaurant Cask & Larder is now open on Mondays starting June 6. To celebrate the first Monday, they are offering Pig Head Carnitas Steam Buns & 2 Beers for $25

Both restaurants are participating in the annual Negroni Week. From June 6-12, purchase select Negroni-created drinks and $1 from the purchase will be donated to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (The Ravenous Pig) or the American Cancer Society (Cask & Larder).

Dandelion Communitea Cafe in Orlando is hosting a Summer Shindig Vegan BBQ on June 12. There will be live music, games & contests, homemade vegan dog biscuits for your furry friends, specialty drinks, and all you can eat Vegan BBQ. Cost is $25 for adults (includes 2 drink tickets), and $17 ages 13 and under. Visit the event’s Facebook page for more info

CaddyShanks Interactive Sports Pub is opening a location near UCF at Plaza on University today, June 3. This upscale sports pub says it features 200+ craft beers and wines, along with 25+ High Definition TV’s, state-of-the-art golf simulators, pool and ping pong, and a Virtual Reality and gaming room. They also have a location in Baldwin Park.

Seasons 52 is offering wild Alaskan Copper River Salmon on its menu for a limited time. Through the summer, guests can enjoy this rich, distinctly bright red salmon paired with seasonal sweet corn risotto, crisp toybox tomatoes and snap peas. There are two Central Florida Seasons 52: one in Altamonte Springs; the other on Sand Lake Rd in Dr. Phillips.

Orlando’s Kona Dog Authentic Hawaiian-Style Hot Dogs Food Truck has plans to franchise its business model and menu, starting with other Florida cities with hopes of expanding across the U.S. For more information, visit gokonadog.com.

Spoleto, an Italian-style fast casual chain, is opening its third area location in Winter Park at 349 N. Orlando Ave on June 4. The brand also has locations at Florida Mall, and near UCF.

The Margarita Kiosk at Epcot’s Mexico Pavilion closed on May 31. No reason was given for the closure of the popular outdoor kiosk which served up Lime, Strawberry, and Mango Frozen Margaritas, and the multi-layered Fiesta Margarita.

Txokos Basque Kitchen has closed at East End Market in Orlando. No reasons were given but the Txokos brand will not appear elsewhere in town. Also no word on what will take over the now vacant space, which anchors the market space.
