Dishes like the New Orleans Barbeque Shrimp feature shrimp from Cape Canaveral. He also sources fruits, vegetables, and more from Florida vendors. Check out the new dinner menu at emerilsrestaurants.com.

Speaking of pizza, Pi Pizza, which already has locations in Winter Park, Longwood and Lake Mary, will open a new location at 532 W. Church St. in April. This location puts them near the Amway Center, which should help with business after shows and sporting events.

According to the website, they’ll also be opening another location on E. Colonial in May.

F&D Cantina has opened at Waterford Town Lakes. Billed as a Mexican gastropub, I’m told the menu features authentic Mexican cuisine, along with a full bar and craft beer list to wash it all down. They will also have a “social hour” every day from 4-7pm.

The restaurant is located at 12789 Waterford Lakes Parkway, next to Waterford Lakes Town Center.
