Orlando to Demolish Citrus Bowl and the Public is Invited to Watch on January 29, 2014

Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium

On January 29, the city of Orlando will begin tearing down the Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium to build a new and better stadium, and they’re inviting the public to watch.

Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer, Orange County Mayor Teresa Jacobs and Florida Citrus Sports invite you to a celebration to mark the beginning of the venue’s reconstruction.

It starts at 10am, and due to this being an active construction site, all guests should wear long pants and closed-toed shoes.

The new stadium will feature an expanded main concourse, new seating, suites, LED video displays and a 10,000 square foot party deck.
